The Devon Feast is inspired by fun and sociable family gatherings around a large busy table; everyone getting involved, a relaxed atmosphere and an abundance of delicious food to share. When we serve the Devon Feast main meal, the atmosphere in the room changes, food is passed around, conversations begin and people really relax in to the celebration.
First, a selection of delicious canapés are served to your guests by our waiting staff before they move in to the main dining space (download our brochure to view the full choice of canapés).
The substantial Devon Feast main meal is then served to each table (or can be served from a feast station), it includes one meat option served on a wooden board, a fish dish, a combination of two salad or vegetable dishes, potatoes served to suit your menu and a vegetarian option served directly to your vegetarian guests. We have provided an example below but there is plenty of choice so take a look through our brochure and see what catches your eye.
Finally, individual desserts are then served directly to guests at their tables. One of our most popular choices is our Trio of Desserts – Chocolate Brownie, Summer Berry Pavlova, Lemon & Vanilla Cheesecake.
The Devon Feast is costed per person and is priced depending on your choice of meat, take a look at our brochure to see the full list of options to choose from.
We offer a huge variety of options with our Devon Feast, but if you have a particular theme, cuisine or a specific dish you would like to work with, then just let us know. We know that a special event is one chance where you can really let the food represent you or your company.
One of our wedding couples wanted to focus on presenting a unique Surf n Turf dish to their guests as it was a personal favourite of theirs – Whole Roast Rib of Beef and Charred Grilled King Prawns with Garlic Butter and rustic baskets of Chunky Chips fulfilled the brief perfectly.
Every season brings a selection of different products at their finest and a late September wedding was the perfect time for a harvest feast, featuring Free Range Truffle Butter Chicken, Roast Heritage Beetroot and Pumpkin Seeds, and Berry Pavalova, it was a true celebration of the season.
“Thank you for the delicious Devon Feast, excellent service, and all round amazing experience we had with you… guests told us how the food was amongst the best wedding food they’d ever eaten… we just loved the sharing-style that ensured it was relaxed – just how we wanted it.”– ELIZABETH AND JACK, May 2015
